Samuel Solórzano Cisery

Samuel Solórzano Cisery. Barranquilla, 1996. Poeta. A raíz de haber nacido con dificultades en el habla, desde muy niño se vio inclinado a los libros y a los poemas, siendo la literatura su puente más próximo para comunicarse. Entre los reconocimiento ha recibido se haya: Tercer lugar del Concurso Departamental Meira del Mar (2011), Segundo lugar del Concurso Nacional de poesía INSTENALCO (2012) y Segundo lugar Concurso de poesía Mesa de Jóvenes PoemaRio (2016). Actualmente estudia Literatura en la Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga y adelanta su Diplomado de Filosofía Clásica en Nueva Acrópolis. Publicó su libro “Las Sombras del Océano” en el año 2013, y varios de sus poemas han aparecido en diferentes revistas culturales en Colombia y Venezuela.

The SmokeLong Grand Micro Contest

Deadline November 15th!

The SmokeLong Grand Micro Contest (The Mikey) is now an annual competition celebrating and compensating the best micro fiction and nonfiction online.

The grand prize winner of The Mikey is automatically nominated for Best Small Fictions and any other prize we deem appropriate. In addition, we will pay the grand prize winner $1000. Second place: $500. Third place $300. Finalists: $100. All finalists and placers will be published in the December ’25 issue of SmokeLong.

Previously published as well as previously unpublished work will be considered.
