Wendy J. Fox is the author of five books of fiction, including the recent novel, The Last Supper (Santa Fe Writer’s Project, 2025) Her linked stories, What If We Were Somewhere Else (Santa Fe Writer’s Project, 2021), won the Colorado Book Award, received a star for excellence in the genre of short-stories in Booklist, and was called “heartfelt” by The New York Times. Her novel, If the Ice Had Held Else (Santa Fe Writer’s Project, 2019), was a notable audio pick for LitHub. She has written for many national publications, including Self, Business Insider, BuzzFeed, and Ms., and authors a quarterly column in Electric Literature focusing on independent books. A lifelong resident of the American west, she currently lives outside of Phoenix.
