Savannah Schroll Guz splits her time between Pittsburgh and a rural hollow of West Virginia , where she writes. She is a regular contributor to Pittsburgh City Paper and has a monthly “Short Takes” review column in Library Journal. She is currently at work on a novel, from which this short comes.
