Speculative Fiction as Metaphor
with Sage Tyrtle

Want to pack a big punch in a tiny story? Let’s play with speculative fiction. Think flash fiction, but weirder. We’ll explore how a single sci-fi or fantasy element can become a powerful metaphor for themes like injustice or loneliness. This workshop is all about using the impossible to talk about the deeply real. I’ll give you the tools to build layered, mind-bending stories. Come warp reality with me and leave with a fresh, impactful piece of flash fiction.
