Train Wreck!

August 26, 2025

Are you as tired as we are of seeing Trump’s face all over The Train Wreck Formerly Known as Twitter? Occasionally, we host campaigns to fill the feed with flash in a rather futile attempt at removing the scourge. Over the next couple of weeks, from now until September 7th at midnight ET, we are hosting a competition on The Train Wreck Formerly Known as Twitter.

Theme: Train Wreck
Length: three posts formerly known as tweets
Deadline: September 7th, midnight ET
Prize: $200

Guidelines:

Your narrative should be no longer than 3 posts (formerly known as tweets), posted together.
Your narrative should NOT be about Donald Trump. We are tired of him.
Your narrative needs to be at least loosely about a train wreck.
You need to tag SmokeLong in your post (formerly know as tweet) so that we know you’ve entered.

Our decision will be made taking into consideration responses on The Train Wreck Formerly Known as Twitter as well as our senior editors’ top 10 picks.

We’ll announce the winner a couple of days after the deadline on The Train Wreck Formerly Knows as Twitter. We wish you all success. You’re pretty.
