Meagan Cass’s story collection, ActivAmerica, won the Katherine Anne Porter Prize and will be published by UNT Press in November 2017. She is the author of the fiction chapbook Range of Motion (Magic Helicopter Press), and her short fiction has appeared in Hayden’s Ferry Review, The Pinch, DIAGRAM, Joyland, and Puerto del Sol, among other places. She is an Assistant Professor of English at the University of Illinois Springfield, where she is a co-curator of the Shelterbelt Reading Series and edits Shelterbelt Books with her colleague Adam Clay. She also serves as an assistant editor for Sundress Publications.
In September 2022 SmokeLong launched a workshop environment/community christened SmokeLong Fitness. This acclaimed community workshop is happening right now on our dedicated workshop site.
