Laurel Miram is a Midwestern short fiction author and essayist. Her work appears in the Eastern Iowa Review and is forthcoming in OPEN: Journal of Arts & Letters. She is the short fiction winner of So to Speak Journal‘s 2019 contest issue and has been nominated for the PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers, the Pushcart Prize, and the Best American Essays anthology.
