Kelli Short Borges writes from her home in Phoenix, Arizona, where her family has lived for six generations. Her fiction has appeared in Fractured Lit, Moon City Review, Peatsmoke Journal, Lost Balloon, Centaur, and elsewhere. Her stories have been nominated for the Best of the Net, Best Small Fictions, and Pushcart Prize anthologies. Recently, her work was chosen for the Wigleaf Top 50 longlist and the 2024 and 2025 editions of Best Microfiction. She is currently working on her debut novel.
