Kari Nguyen

Kari Nguyen lives in New England with her dog, husband, daughter, and twin boys. She is a two-time Pushcart Prize nominee, a two-time prize winner in the Glass Woman Prize, and her work has received recognition from Glimmer Train, The Binnacle, and New Hampshire Writers Magazine.  Over twenty-five of her stories have been published online and in print, most recently in The Best of Boston Literary Magazine anthology. SmokeLong Fitness – The Year-round Community Workshop of SmokeLong

In September 2022 SmokeLong launched a workshop environment/community christened SmokeLong Fitness. This community workshop is happening right now on our dedicated workshop site. If you choose to join us, you will work in a small group of around 15-20 participants to give and receive feedback on flash narratives—one new writing task each week.
