John Miguel Shakespear is a Pushcart Prize-nominated writer and musician from Massachusetts. His writing has appeared in Cincinnati Review, Pidgeonholes, Split Lip Magazine, and elsewhere, and his music has been featured by NPR and PopMatters. He is the Prose Editor for INCH at Bull City Press. He has never changed his name and bears no known relation to William Shakespeare.
