____________

The SmokeLong three-hour live Zoom workshop is designed to give participants a solid foundation in the art of drafting compelling flash narratives. During the workshop, we will generate numerous story beginnings, draft stories, and focus on what we need to tell the world. We will also learn and practice new drafting techniques.

What sentence-level narrative devices make flash narratives compelling?

What sets flash narratives apart from other narrative forms?

What is a moment of being?

We’ll discuss these topics and more, and we’ll come away with lots of story drafts we can’t wait to share with the world.
