If you write micro fiction, you’ve probably come across the Bath Flash Fiction Award. Bath Flash Fiction also hosts a novella-in-flash competition alongside its rolling flash contest and anthologies. The first anthology–To Carry Her Home: Bath Flash Fiction, Volume One— includes 145 stories by writers from eleven countries.
Robert Vaughan, one of 2016 judges, had this to say about the anthology:
“unique landscapes, with unusual words, startling sentence fragments and odd characters…truly international with heartfelt prose, playful poetics and taking literary risks”
But that’s not all. Bath Flash Fiction is also organizing the Bath Flash Fiction Festival to be held in Bath on June 24-25, 2017. This is the first literary festival in the UK to focus purely on flash fiction, so we wish Bath Flash much success! If you live in the UK, have a look.
