Maureen Langloss is a lawyer-turned-writer living in New York City. She serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Split Lip Magazine. Her work has appeared in Alaska Quarterly Review, Kenyon Review, Ploughshares, The Best Small Fictions, The Journal, Wigleaf, and elsewhere. Her story, “I Am in It,” was a distinguished story in The Best American Short Stories 2022. She is the recipient of the Copper Nickel Editor’s Prize in Prose, and her work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net.
