Beth Thomas lives and writes in and for the desert southwest. Her dusty, ghosty, windy stories have appeared in ABQ Free Press, Wigleaf, El Portal, Contrary, PANK, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, and other places. She was previously a senior editor at SmokeLong Quarterly and was the recipient of the first Kathy Fish Fellowship (2007).
The SmokeLong Grand Micro Contest (The Mikey) is now an annual competition celebrating and compensating the best micro fiction and nonfiction online.
