Reader: Robert Shapard

Robert Shapard has coedited seven books of very short fiction, including Flash Fiction International, Flash Fiction Forward, Sudden Fiction International, and Sudden Fiction Latino. Several of own stories as well as a flash chapbook have won national awards. He will be on two panels at the AWP conference in Los Angeles next spring: Where Are You Going, Where Have We Been?: Five Editors Discuss the History and Future of Flash Fiction Anthologies, with Tom Hazuka, James Thomas, Lynn Mundell of 100 Word Story magazine; and Nancy Stohlman of Fast Forward Press; and Flash Fiction International: Readings From the Book, Mexico’s Monica Lavín, Norway's Berit Ellington, and Ireland's James Claffey and Ethel Rohan.
