Janika Oza is a writer based in Toronto. She was the winner of the 2019 Malahat Review Open Season Award in Fiction for her short story, "Exile”, and was longlisted for the 2019 CBC Short Story Prize. She has received fellowships from VONA, Tin House, and One Story. Her writing is published or forthcoming in Guernica, The 2019 Best Small Fictions Anthology, The Columbia Review, Into The Void, and SmokeLong Quarterly, among others.
