Dustin M. Hoffman spent ten years painting houses before earning an MFA in fiction from Bowling Green State University and a PhD in creative writing from Western Michigan University. He currently serves as an assistant professor of creative writing at Winthrop University. His stories have recently been published or are forthcoming in The Threepenny Review, Witness, Puerto del Sol, The Journal, Fourteen Hills and Indiana Review, and he received a special mention in the 2014 Pushcart Prize anthology.
