Aimee Manion is a Pittsburgh-based artist who has found inspiration in the constantly evolving nature of life by studying Biological Anthropology at IUP. Her playful paintings depict a detailed world of rainbow chromosomes, dancing DNA, swirling infinities and phylogenetic trees. Aimee’s work can be found in local restaurants including Off the Hook, Westin Hotel, and Wyndham Tryp, and in publications including Creative Nonfiction, and The Open Thread. She is currently restoring a very old house and building her dream studio in Bellevue, PA.
